Nunavut through the Eyes of its Youth
Using an iPad and recording tools, youth from each community in Nunavut set out to create a video montage of their community. They recorded snapshots of their community to show: what makes them proud, what makes their community special, and what it is like to live in their community.
These video celebrations, a part of Canada’s 150th anniversary of Confederation, are to be shared throughout Nunavut and across the country to deepen understanding between Nunavut and the rest of Canada and to broaden everyone’s concept of what it means to be Canadian in 2017.
